Privacy notice

What this site collects, what it does not, and what happens when you click a link that earns us money. Last reviewed 23 September 2026.

No cookies No accounts No third-party scripts

In one paragraph

The short version

This site sets no cookies, has no login, no forms, no comments and no mailing list. It loads no scripts, fonts or images from anyone else's servers. It counts page views using software we run ourselves, in a form that does not identify you. If you click a link to a dating service, you leave this site and that company's own rules apply from that point.

Analytics

We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool, installed on our own server and served from this domain. No analytics company receives your visit.

What is recorded

Which page was viewed, and when.
The referring site, if there was one.
Country, browser and whether the device is mobile or desktop.
Whether a commercial link was clicked, and from which page.

What is not recorded

No cookies are set, so nothing follows you between sessions or between sites.
No IP address is stored in readable form.
No name, email, phone number or account, because the site has no way to ask for one.
No profile of you is built, sold, or shared with advertisers. There are no advertisers.

The result is a count of pages and clicks, not a record of people.

Infrastructure

Hosting and delivery

The site runs on a server we rent in Germany. Cloudflare sits in front of it as a content delivery network and to filter malicious traffic.

Like any web server, both process the IP address your browser presents, because a request cannot be answered without an address to answer it to. Cloudflare keeps standard delivery and security logs under its own policy. We do not combine those logs with anything else, and we do not use them to identify visitors.

Commercial links

What happens when you click a commercial link

Some links on this site go to dating services. If you sign up through one, we may be paid a commission at no cost to you. This is the only way the site earns anything.

Those links pass through a redirect on this domain, which adds a code identifying which of our pages you came from. That code says nothing about you: it says "this click came from the page about asking someone out".

After the redirect, you are on someone else's website. What they collect, including any cookies or advertising identifiers they set, is governed by their privacy policy and not by this one. We have no access to any account you create there, and we are not told who signed up.

Our page on handling rejection carries no commercial links at all.

Absent by design

What this site does not do

No advertising network. No ad slots, no retargeting pixels, no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
No social widgets. No embedded feeds, like buttons or share scripts that report your visit to a social network.
No external fonts or libraries. Everything the page needs is served from this domain, so no other company sees that you loaded it.
No email collection. There is no newsletter, no download in exchange for an address, and no form of any kind.
Not for under-18s. The site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age.

Your data

Requests about your data

Because the site holds no cookies, no accounts and no identifiers, there is no record here that is tied to you as a person. That means there is nothing for us to look up, export, correct or delete on request.

If you want to stop even the anonymous page counting, any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics will do it, and the site works normally without it.
